The official Zenless Zone Zero team has announced tonight that a brand-new Agent, Yoyo (Fubo Yoyo), will be joining the roster in Version 2.1! She’s no stranger to players—having made several appearances in past PVs and a brief cameo in Version 2.0. With her quirky personality and striking red hair, she's already caught the attention of many Proxies. Let’s dive into what we’ve learned so far about Yoyo!
Background
Hailing from the Odd-Job Agency, Yoyo is a lively and mischievous girl with a love for pranks and fun. As seen in the Season 2 preview PV, she’s full of energy and charm. But in Version 2.0’s storyline, she also revealed a more reliable and capable side—she’s certainly no airhead.
By now, Proxies might’ve realized the “raccoon” Yoyo talks about is none other than the little companion she carries on her back. So… all that “bad luck” she blames on the raccoon? Probably her own doing!
Voice Lines & Personality
Despite her playful antics, Yoyo takes serious tasks seriously. For example, she helps out at Uncle Baorong’s store and is surprisingly skilled at promoting products. From others’ comments about her, we can see that although Yoyo may look a bit cheeky, she’s undoubtedly a warm-hearted and dependable girl!
Voice Actors
CN VA: Jinna , known for voicing Yoimiya in Genshin Impact and Ruan Mei in Honkai: Star Rail.
JP VA: Ikumi Hasegawa , famous for roles like Ikuyo Kita in Bocchi the Rock! and Casablanca in Azur Lane.
Role & Attributes
Yoyo will be the second limited S-rank Support Agent in Zenless Zone Zero. While she deals Physical damage, elemental typing isn’t too critical for supports. Her potential lies in wide utility.
Given how limited 2.0's Yinlin benefits from attack boosts, it’s likely Yoyo will focus on multipliers like DMG bonus, crit rate/crit DMG, resistance reduction, or vulnerability debuffs. This would give her high flexibility while also syncing perfectly with Yinlin’s kit, and set her apart from other supports like Nicole.
In short, Yoyo's value as a limited S-rank support is extremely high. If your pulls are limited, it’s worth waiting for the 2.1 livestream to learn more about her mechanics before deciding between pulling for Ellen (Orange Fluff) or Caesar.
Others’ Opinions
Yoyo’s close friend, Mato, already appeared quite a bit in Version 2.0. He warns players to be cautious of the drinks Yoyo offers—but hey, she is treating you, and vegetable juice is healthy! Maybe it’s just her way of showing kindness. If she offered Little Pro a drink full of cilantro, I’d still say yes!
Yoyo often uses clever tricks to deal with lawbreakers. For instance, she once scared a shady street vendor with her raccoon companion, leading him to turn over a new leaf.
There are hints that Yoyo may have been adopted by Uncle Baorong, which might be explored more in future story updates.
Although she comes across as cheerful and carefree, Yoyo likely hides parts of her past. Could she be from a wealthy or influential family, running from something? What kind of experiences shaped her into who she is today? Let’s hope the devs don’t break our hearts with a tragic backstory!
Final Notes
Yoyo is scheduled to appear in the first phase banner of Version 2.1. With recent banners offering such high-value characters, are your Films still holding out?
