March 7th’s New Developments
Let’s talk about everyone’s favorite poster girl. Ever since entering Penacony, March 7th has been in a deep slumber. Even up through Version 3.3, she showed no signs of waking up. Based on the current clues, it seems her backstory might be deeply connected to memories.
As such, many players are speculating that March 7th will soon regain her memories and awaken into a "complete" form.
New Appearance Speculation
Her potential new look might be tied to an old Light Cone featuring jellyfish elements—if that's really part of the design, this might be a huge visual upgrade!
In early beta versions, March 7th also had an alternate outfit that may have been scrapped or redesigned. It’s possible we could see it return in an updated form.
How Will Players Obtain Her New Form?
There are generally two ways new character forms are introduced in-game:
Path Switching via the same character body.
Star Rank Upgrade that comes with an entirely new model.
March 7th already has two Paths in-game, so a third Path-switch form would be quite reasonable—leading some players to believe that SP March 7th might still be a 4-star character.
However, others argue differently. Among the original Astral Express crew, March 7th is the only one without a 5-star version. Given the narrative importance of the Penacony arc, many speculate that the developers will finally release a 5-star March 7th, obtainable via the standard gacha pull.
