The second half of the Genshin Impact 5.7 banners has already been live for some time. Travelers who haven’t pulled Navia or Emilie yet should hurry—right after this phase, the highly anticipated summer-themed Version 5.8 will begin.
There are just two days left until the 5.8 preview livestream, which will include not only real-time demonstrations of new characters' skills but also the official banner schedule. Let’s take a look at the upcoming content revealed so far!
With Version 5.8 approaching, the official teaser image for the special program has finally been released. Without further ado, here it is: the special preview program for Version 5.8, titled "Summertide Sceneries! Sunshowers? Vacation Paradise!", will go live on July 18 at 8:00 PM (server time).
The teaser image features four characters: Marani, Chasika, Venti, and Bennett. This summer version introduces new skins for both Yelan and Bennett, though Yelan’s skin remains hidden for now—we’ll have to wait for the livestream for details.
As for Bennett’s new skin, some in-game visuals have already been revealed in the teaser. Observant Travelers may have noticed the significant changes to his outfit: his sunglasses accessory is replaced with a headband, and the bandage on his nose is gone. The color scheme of his top has changed, and his shorts have been replaced by long pants. All signs point to Bennett having a dedicated story segment in Version 5.8, as previously hinted. According to earlier information, his new skin can be obtained for free through the main summer event, which is definitely something to look forward to.
Of course, the preview image also features Marani, Chasika, and Venti. Marani and Chasika debuted during the launch of Natlan but have never been rerun since—so their rerun in 5.8 seems very likely. Another character, Cithlaly, is also expected to make an appearance, suggesting a full Natlan cast reunion—definitely exciting news.
Bennett takes center stage in the teaser image, while Venti’s return has also thrilled many fans. Bennett mains and Venti fans alike have good reason to be excited. So, Travelers, are you looking forward to Version 5.8 too?
