Hermit’s second limited skin has finally been revealed—something I’ve been looking forward to for a long time. Let’s dive into a critical review of the new models.
Hermit
First off, Hermit does have hair modeled underneath his hat. He looks both handsome and fierce—perhaps thanks to the muzzle-like effect, which also gives off a slightly ascetic vibe. But at first glance, the chin decoration oddly resembles a beard.
The overcoat and cape look luxurious, but in-game they feel a bit bulky, almost like a steel helmet. Personally, I still prefer the smaller cape from his first limited skin. If only the hat and cape were semi-transparent like the Kirin Merchant's.
This limited skin comes with detailed special effects—the translucent hat and golden glitter on the scepter are finely done. However, zooming in reveals that Hermit’s heavy black eyeliner almost throws the look off. Maybe it’s supposed to emphasize his large eyes, but it’s a bit overwhelming. Also, his icon shows black sclera, while the actual in-game model displays an unclear gray-white color—there’s a noticeable inconsistency.
That said, the texture of the outfit is fantastic. The waist, belt, hands—everything is well-designed. The chest and waist proportions are great, and leather coats just suit Hermit so well.
Doctor
Who else noticed the transformation effect? From the side, Doctor’s new skin "Argent and Antimony" feels like the other side of "Eternal Flower." While the face model isn’t as instantly striking as Eternal Flower’s, the button-eye design, though relatively simple, is still beautiful. Especially those human-skin buttons—definitely on the mother-level tier.
There are rose petal particle effects floating around the skin, which might pair well with "Binding Heart."
Grave Keeper
This skin may look understated in the poster, but the leather trench coat and hat textures are excellent. The face model is also super cute—one of the best among all of Grave Keeper’s skins.
It also features dark golden rose petal particles floating around the character, which is a pretty nice touch!
