(PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, PUBG) is about to receive an update in October this year to support the interoperability of players on Microsoft Xbox One and Sony PlayStation 4 platforms. The news was announced by Microsoft during the Inside Xbox event, and it has got the fans of this battle royale game very excited. Cecilia Lee, the community manager of PUBG, pointed out that Crossplay will be first launched on the public test server at the end of September and will be fully interoperable in early October.
Cecilia Lee wrote, "Since PUBG landed on the console platforms, this has always been a popular feature among players. We're excited to finally offer this feature to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 communities."
In addition, the PUBG team announced that they will release content updates faster than ever before, hoping to do so within two weeks after the release of the PC version. "Starting from August 27th, PUBG Season 4 will be launched on game consoles, and all the content on each platform will be consistent."
