NIKKE Overzone Rerun March 2026: Gem & Pull Guide

The Overzone Event Rerun runs March 5–19, 2026, featuring E.H. (SSR Attacker, Elysion, SMG, Wind, Burst III) on a Special Recruit banner — 4% base SSR rate, 2% rate-up, 200-pull hard pity (60,000 Gems). The short answer: most veterans should skip or soft-pull and save for the 3.5 Anniversary in late March–April. New players and E.H. fans have a case to spend, but only with a firm budget ceiling set before you open the banner.

Key Dates & What to Expect

Banner window: March 5–19, 2026 (closes 4:59:59 UTC+9). Pre-banner maintenance runs March 5, 11:00–15:00 UTC+9 — finalize your gem count before servers go down.

Two concurrent events worth staying active for:

  • Union Raid: March 6 (5:00 UTC+9) – March 12 (4:59:59 UTC+9) — requires Union Level 3

  • Coordinated Operation: March 13 (12:00 UTC+9) – March 15 (23:59:59 UTC+9)

Both drop Gems and materials. Staying active directly boosts your pull count.

This is a rerun — Overzone story stages and event shop return in original form. Rewards include Recruit Vouchers, Skill Books, Battle Data, Core Dust, Consoles, Credits, and 50 event currency per stage clear.

Overload gear priority: Head > Gloves > Chest > Boots, targeting 4x Elemental Damage rolls. Skill investment: S2 to Level 7 first, then S1 to Level 4, then Burst to Level 10. S2 carries her damage output; S1's 4-stack ammo cap creates a DPS ceiling that makes over-investing there wasteful.

One thing most guides miss: don't pair E.H. with infinite ammo synergies like Alice. Her 4-stack cap wastes those mechanics entirely. Build around Burst cooldown cycling instead.

Pull Math & Pity System

Hard pity guarantees an SSR at 200 pulls (60,000 Gems). Soft pity activates around pulls 60–80. Gold Mileage Tickets (200 needed to exchange for E.H.) carry over indefinitely — they don't reset between banners.

Pull count pity does NOT carry over from the original Overzone banner. Each banner instance resets the counter. Mileage Tickets, however, do carry over. Check your current count before pulling — if you're at 120 tickets, you only need 80 more pulls (24,000 Gems) to guarantee E.H. via the Mileage Shop. That's a defined cost with a guaranteed outcome, which beats gambling toward hard pity from zero.

31 pulls at 6,600 Gems versus the standard 9,300 Gems — saves you roughly 2,700 Gems. Always run one full Step-Up cycle before switching to standard 10-pulls. Community consensus: don't chase hard pity beyond one Step-Up on this banner.

Free Gem Sources During the Event

Active F2P players generate roughly 8,000–12,000 Gems per month. The community target for this banner: 15,000–25,000 Gems saved by March 5 — enough for 50–83 pulls, covering soft pity territory.

Daily missions yield ~80 Gems/day (2,400 Gems over a full month). That's your baseline floor.

CDK Codes Active March 2026

Redeem via Notice → Event Notice → CD-Key Portal (requires completing tutorial stages 1–4):

  • PUNYQUEEN — x10 Advanced Recruit Vouchers

  • NIKKECHRISTMASPARTY — x10 Advanced Recruit Vouchers

  • NIKKESTELLARBLADE — x5 Advanced Recruit Vouchers

  • 3YEARSWITHNIKKE — x10 Recruit Vouchers

  • 2026 codes — x2 Advanced Recruit Vouchers + materials

Redeem all of these before spending a single Gem. They're free pulls sitting unclaimed.

Starting from zero on March 5, a fully active F2P player realistically accumulates 15–20 pulls during the 14-day window from daily missions alone. Not enough for a guaranteed copy. The math strongly favors saving gems in advance rather than farming during the event.

Is E.H. Worth Pulling?

Community consensus on r/NikkeMobile and NIKKE Discord: E.H. is B-tier. Functional Overload kit, genuine value — but she doesn't transform your roster. She's outperformed by Crown, Rapi: Red Hood, and others in optimal compositions.

2026 F2P priority order: Crown > Rapi: Red Hood > Nayuta > Little Mermaid > Cinderella > Helm > E.H.

She's at the bottom of that list. And the 3.5 Anniversary (March–April 2026) brings T0-tier units with elevated Gem rewards. Spending 15,000–25,000 Gems on E.H. now means entering Anniversary with a depleted war chest. That's why experienced players are largely sitting this one out.

New players face a different calculation. E.H. can carry early-game content — but even then, Anniversary banner unit quality is higher. Unless you're specifically building around her, the gems work harder there.

Best Team Composition

Recommended team composition guide featuring E.H., Liter, Crown in Goddess of Victory: NIKKE

Liter (B1) + Crown (B2) + E.H. + Rapi: Red Hood (B3) + Naga (flex). No Crown? Substitute Blanc at B2. This maximizes Burst cycling and works around her ammo cap.

Pull Decision Framework

  • Skip — if you have 0–1 units ranked above E.H. and are saving for Anniversary

  • Soft-pull — one Step-Up cycle (6,600 Gems) if you want a shot without overcommitting

  • Pull to guarantee — only if you're at 120+ Mileage Tickets and need just 80 more pulls

Gem Spending Strategy by Player Type

F2P

Run one Step-Up cycle (6,600 Gems) if you've saved 15,000–25,000 Gems, then bank the rest for Anniversary. Haven't saved that much? Skip entirely. Don't drain reserves on a B-tier unit when T0 units are weeks away.

Exception: if your Mileage is at 120+ tickets, 80 pulls at 24,000 Gems guarantees E.H. via the shop. That's a defined cost — more palatable than chasing hard pity from zero.

Dolphin ($10–$50)

Monthly Pass ($4.99): 300 Gems upfront plus 100 daily for 30 days — 3,300 Gems total. Buy it on March 5 to collect through the entire Overzone window and into Anniversary. Best recurring value purchase in NIKKE, full stop.

For players looking to buy NIKKE gems for the Overzone event, First Purchase Tiers offer 100% bonus gems for accounts that haven't used them yet:

Don't trigger this on a small Tier 1 purchase. Save your first purchase for Tier 4 or Tier 5 — the bonus scales with the tier, and it's a one-time opportunity per account.

Dolphin ceiling: Monthly Pass + First Purchase Tier 3 or 4 + one Step-Up cycle. Under $30 total, 40–60 pulls depending on tier.

Whale

MLB requires multiple E.H. copies. At ~50 pulls per copy, the cost is substantial — and her B-tier ceiling means that investment has diminishing returns versus Crown or Rapi: Red Hood MLB. Your money works harder on Anniversary T0 units.

Hard Budget Rule

Set your gem ceiling before opening the banner. Write it down. The Step-Up UI is built to encourage just one more phase thinking. A pre-committed number stops that spiral. Players who set a hard budget before pulling consistently spend less and feel better about the outcome.

Top-Up Strategy

If your gem gap is significant — more than 15,000 Gems short with under 10 days left — target the 18,000–24,000 Gem range (60–80 pulls). That's soft pity territory where SSR rates meaningfully increase.

For players who want to top up NIKKE paid gems efficiently, BitTopup offers competitive rates with fast delivery — worth checking before committing to in-app purchases, especially for larger amounts.

Stack Monthly Pass + First Purchase Tier (4 or 5) for the best gem-per-dollar ratio before touching standard bundles.

Event Shop Priority

Overzone event shop interface in Goddess of Victory: NIKKE with Recruit Vouchers and materials

Spend event currency in this order:

  1. Recruit Vouchers — direct pull value, always first

  2. Skill Books — persistent bottleneck, stock up

  3. Battle Data / Core Dust — essential for Overload gear

  4. Consoles — useful but less urgent

  5. Credits — only after exhausting everything above

Unlocking Overzone Endings

Two endings unlock bonus rewards and require specific choices:

  • Ending No.01 — Stand Guard: When prompted, do NOT click to take photos. Choose Stand Guard.

  • Ending No.02 — Deer Meat: Shoot the deer with the ordinary rifle, turn left, take everything, then use Hunting Props for camouflage.

Players rushing through story content often trigger the wrong branch. The bonus rewards are worth 30 seconds of attention.

FAQ

When does the Overzone rerun end? March 19, 2026 at 4:59:59 UTC+9. Don't wait until the final day — server load during banner closings causes issues.

Does pity carry over from the original Overzone banner? Pull count pity resets with each banner. Gold Mileage Tickets carry over indefinitely — tickets from the original event count toward the 200 needed to exchange for E.H.

Is E.H. available after the event ends? She'll return in future reruns, no confirmed timeline. You can still obtain her via the Mileage Shop with 200 Gold Mileage Tickets from future SSR pulls — the exchange doesn't require her banner to be active.

What's the cheapest way to get gems? Redeem all CDK codes first (free). Buy the Monthly Pass ($4.99 for 3,300 Gems). If you've never purchased, trigger your First Purchase bonus at Tier 3 or higher for the 100% gem match. These three steps give the best gem-per-dollar ratio before touching standard bundles.

Step-Up or standard 10-pulls? Always Step-Up first. Phase 1 costs 100 Gems for one pull — essentially free. Full 31-pull cycle at 6,600 Gems saves ~2,700 Gems versus standard pricing. After one full cycle, revert to standard 10-pulls if continuing.

New player — is this my best first banner? Probably not. E.H. is functional but B-tier. The 3.5 Anniversary in late March–April 2026 features higher-tier units with better long-term value. Save your gems and First Purchase bonus for that unless you have a specific reason to want E.H. now.
