Coming up next is the long-awaited rerun of Murata, the Pyro Archon. Given her status and hype, the competition for Primogems remains fierce. Meanwhile, the character art for upcoming 5.8 characters has also been revealed—let’s dive into what we know so far about banners from 5.8 to 6.0!
5.8 All-Female Banner Lineup
According to leaked info, Version 5.8 will feature an all-female lineup. New mechanical girl Inef will debut alongside reruns for Chasika, Maranie, and Citlali.
Additionally, both Yelan and Bennett will receive new skins, although we likely won’t see them in action until the 5.8 livestream. This livestream is expected around July 18, so mark your calendars and get ready for a preview of the new version.
6.0 Nordkale Region & Anniversary Content
Looking ahead to 6.0, Genshin Impact will officially enter the Nordkale region. According to the latest rumors, Nordkale's main storyline will span nine full versions, including its prologue. In this major update, both the Puppet Girl and Maiden Colombina will make appearances.
Since 6.0 is also the anniversary patch, players can expect generous anniversary rewards, potentially even surpassing those from the Natlan anniversary. Alongside the rewards, various system optimizations are also rumored to be in the works.
Notably, Colombina, a highly anticipated character, will have her own story quest, signaling her central role in the 6.0 update.
Maiden & Puppet Details
Although both the Maiden and the Puppet Girl will appear in 6.0, it’s currently reported that only the Maiden will be featured in the banners, likely in Version 6.3. She is a Hydro Catalyst user and expected to be a flagship character for the update.
As for the 6.0 banners, they will feature a male Electro DPS with Overload-based mechanics and a female Geo DPS focused on Crystallize reactions. Many more new characters are also in the pipeline, promising a diverse and exciting future for travelers.
That said, given the long version roadmap ahead, plans may shift at any time. So as always, stay excited—but stay cautious. See you in Teyvat, traveler!
