Today we’re recommending two extremely powerful yet beginner-friendly teams that are incredibly effective and easy to use. If you have the right characters, you absolutely need to try them out.
Miyabi Hoshimi + Ukinami Yuzuha + Soukaku
Team Overview
This is the simplified version of the “Miyabi–Lycaon–Soukaku” comp, also known as the Perma-Freeze Team. The rotation is very straightforward: Miyabi uses Draw Blade, then switch to Soukaku and move slightly away to use her enhanced special skill (fan attack) to apply Freeze and Disorder. Then hold E for the follow-up, dodge > AA. When you see Soukaku slam her blade down, switch to Miyabi to use her enhanced special or ultimate for Frostbite, draw blade again, and go back to Soukaku.
When Ukinami Yuzuha has energy, bring her out for enhanced special skill. When Soukaku runs out of energy, use the ultimate of either Yuzuha or Soukaku.
This team not only deals high damage but also constantly freezes enemies, effectively locking them in place — hence the name “Perma-Freeze Comp.” Miyabi also has plenty of invincibility time, so survival is rarely an issue.
Gear Recommendations
Miyabi Hoshimi: 4x Withering Blossom + 2x Puffer Electro. Slot 4: Crit Rate/Crit DMG, Slot 5: Penetration Rate, Slot 6: Anomaly Mastery. W-Engine: Signature.
Ukinami Yuzuha: 4x Nicole + 2x Phaethon. Slots 4/5: ATK, Slot 6: Anomaly Mastery. W-Engine: Signature, Crying Cradle, or Ah-Po. Aim for 3000 ATK and 171 Anomaly Mastery.
Soukaku: 4x Free Jazz + 2x Phaethon. Slots 4/5: ATK, Slot 6: Energy Regen. W-Engine: Wandering Ballade.
Substitute Characters
If you don’t have Ukinami Yuzuha, you can use Lycaon, turning the comp back into the classic Miyabi–Lycaon–Soukaku setup. However, Lycaon’s Freeze buildup isn’t as good, so you’ll need to stockpile Frostbite stacks from Miyabi and energy for Lycaon and Soukaku, and focus on burst damage during Stagger phases.
Most players should have Soukaku. If you don’t want to build her, you can use Vivian, Ben Bigger, or Lucy. But honestly, Soukaku is the best for this team — she enables the perma-freeze mechanic and provides buffs to Miyabi’s ATK and Ice DMG.
Yixuan + Nekomata + Ju Fufu
Team Overview
Ju Fufu and Nekomata apply Stagger and buffs passively in the background, so you don’t need to micromanage them. Just bring them out when they have energy to cast enhanced specials. If they have enough Dissonance, use their ultimates.
Yixuan stays on-field. Whether he’s charging spheres or using enhanced specials for blocks, his survivability is top-tier. The only thing to pay attention to: when using Yixuan’s ultimate, make sure you’ve already received Nekomata’s buff. In other words, use Nekomata’s enhanced special first, quickly switch to Yixuan, and then use ultimate or charge spheres.
Gear Recommendations
Yixuan: 4x “As One with Kuixu.” Slot 4: Crit Rate/Crit DMG, Slot 5: Ether DMG or HP, Slot 6: HP. W-Engine: Signature, Electric Walkman, or Magic Cube.
Ju Fufu: 4x Mountain King + 2x ATK. Slot 4: Crit Rate, Slots 5/6: ATK. W-Engine: Signature, Inferno Gear, or Edge of Night. Requires 50% Crit Rate (mandatory) and 3400 ATK (as high as possible).
Nekomata (Pan Yinhui): 4x Primal Punk + 2x ATK. Slots 4/5: ATK, Slot 6: Energy Regen. Aim for 3000 ATK, which is easy to achieve.
Substitute Characters
Either Ju Fufu or Nekomata can be replaced by Nicole, Anton, or Wave-6 Koleda.
Ju Fufu increases the Dissonance cap, helping Yixuan reliably get double ultimates every enemy wave. Nekomata boosts Penetration and is an A-rank unit, making him easy to obtain.
Conclusion
Both teams are extremely strong — the hardest part about using them is not laughing at how effortless they are. The cost isn’t even that high, since you don’t need a full S-rank lineup. A-rank characters do a lot of heavy lifting.
If you’ve got these units, give these teams a try!
